Dr. Lindsey Dogali is a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in providing psychological evaluations for children and adolescents. She enjoys working with clients with learning challenges (especially reading and writing challenges) as well as difficulties with attention, executive functioning, anxiety, and mood/behavior. Dr. Dogali focuses foremost on providing exceptional clinical service in a warm, supportive, and collaborative manner with all clients and families.

Dr. Dogali primarily specializes in psychoeducational (cognition and learning) and comprehensive psychological evaluations (additionally examines social, emotional, and behavioral factors). She often sees students who are struggling in school due to difficulties with learning, attention, and/or executive functioning (e.g., trouble getting start on tasks, planning ahead, and organizing). She also sees children and adolescents who are struggling with sad or angry moods, anxiety, perfectionism, and social skill deficits. Dr. Dogali enjoys examining the complex interplay among these factors and helping families understand how they may impact their child’s achievement and psychological well-being.
Dr. Dogali works hard to give each family her full attention throughout the evaluation process. She strives to make testing as interesting, fun, and rewarding as possible for all of her clients. She has a warm, approachable and responsive style yet is very precise and detail-oriented. Her reports are incredibly comprehensive and helpful so that each family walks away with a thorough understanding of how their child thinks, learns, and behaves. Following testing, Dr. Dogali offers ongoing consultation to help parents obtain the right help for their child (ranging from obtaining accommodations and special education support in school to locating private academic tutors and therapists).
In addition, Dr. Dogali is pleased to offer parent training for parents who would like help implementing recommendations at home. She can work with you to develop reward programs at home to improve your child’s focus, planning/organizational skills, compliance, as well as anxiety management.
Dr. Dogali lives with her husband, young daughter, and feisty French Bulldog in Northern Virginia.
